9 wks 3 days

Today we had our first appt with our Dr. It went quickly and I figured that much since he didn't have to do any exams since it was just a year ago that he did those. No weight gain so far!! Yay that makes me happy :-) And then we got to hear the heartbeat which was very present and there. He said that there was a 50/50 chance that we wouldn't hear it today because generally a doppler doesn't pick one up until 10 wks so I was glad that we heard it! I feel so blessed that the Lord has blessed me with yet another pregnancy that has so far been non complicated. I have yet to throw up, I mean I feel nauseous throughout the day but haven't thrown up. The only effect so far that this pregnancy has had on me is that I've noticed I'm extremely tired lately. Maybe a little hormonal too ;-) I mean yesterday Zachary smacked his head into my mouth on accident and I just broke down! It hurt and I was bleeding but I just started crying and couldn't stop. And then there was my reality show that I watched yesterday that made me cry! Ahh yes pathetic I know but at least I can just blame it on my hormones! Not much else going on for now!

I want to say first off say thank you to everyone who sent emails, brought over cards and gifts. Thank you, thank you! It was much appreciated. I had a wonderful low key birthday! I went and got a manicure/pedicure with my mom and then dinner and cupcakes at her house! I enjoyed my mani/pedi immensly! Very relaxing and as you can see I love the color I chose for my toes! I of course don't feel any older than I did yesterday but as I was telling my friend it sounds better to say that I'm about to be a mother of three at 23 versus 22!! That's a good plus for me! Cuz it's amazing the looks people give me espicially at work when they realize that not only do I have one child but I have two! People just automatically assume that I'm younger than I am, I mean I still get carded for cigarettes whenever I buy some for Asa!! 

 
I didn't know how I'd feel about this color but I actually really like it and wished I would've done my hands in this color too!

A little bit of this and a little bit of that

So here I am almost 9 wks pregnant and man am I tired!! People are asking me all the time how I'm feeling and honestly I don't know. My life is so busy right now and I can't tell if it's the pregnancy that's making me so tired or just the fact that I am taking care of two kids all day long. Who knows probably a little of both! Of course while I should be in bed right now I'm instead doing this. Cuz it is freakin' hot in my house!! The thought of laying on my bed is not too appealing right now and also I just got my kids calmed down and in bed 20 minutes ago. I had to work tonight at Kids Night Out so Asa was watching them and trying to play poker with his friends at the same time. When I took Zachary into the house his feet and legs were completely black! From all his crawling on the garage floor. While he is getting the hang of this walking thing he still is not too keen on walking to get somewhere it is more or less walking just to walk a few steps. This coming week I have my first appt with my doc and I'm excited for it and hopefully we'll get to hear the heartbeat! As far as my scale says I haven't gained any weight yet which is good news to me! Considering that in the past two weeks I've exercised in the gym twice but I have been riding my bike 5 times a week to go to work and take Connor to Busy Buddies. I tend to start gaining weight right away in my pregnancies so this time around I'm hoping with more exercise and less over indulging on donuts I should hopefully not gain as much weight! But you know I already feel like I'm showing! I keep saying to myself am I supposed to be showing this early? Asa says it doesn't look like I'm showing but he also said he doesn't pay attention to my stomach as obbesively as I do! And it's already uncomfortable for me to sleep on my stomach which sucks cuz that's my favorite! I am getting the feeling that with each pregnancy your body reacts sooner and sooner cuz it already knows what to do. I was going to take my first pregnancy picture this past week but I just don't know if it's too soon so maybe I'll post one, I just don't know yet....

I am extremely impatient with this walking thing!! But Zachary is finally getting the hang of it and starting to get braver and walk quite a few steps at once! I have been anxious for him to walk since Connor started walking at 10 months and I just assumed Zach would be an early walker too but no Zach wants to take his time! I feel it is much easier for Zach to be walking because as of right now if he goes out on our deck he crawls and gets splinters and if we go to the park he crawls and gets too dirty that way but if he's walking then I'd be more willing to take him outside to play with Connor and the park would just mainly make it easier for me if he's walking!!

Zachary's Birthday Party!!!

 
Oh man what a day!! We were busy from the time we woke up to well now, since I'm blogging! We visited our friends church this morning to witness their baptism and it was awesome, then off to Costco for cake and food. And finally the time for his party. We all enjoyed ourselves immensly! Lots of laughter and lots of smiles!! Zachary was a trooper through it all and did great! He espicially loved his cake! Zachary and the rest of the kids ran and played and then swam so hopefully they were all as worn out as my kids were when we got home!! 

 
Before the real festivities of eating the cake began!! Everyone sang Happy Birthday and this is Zach's reaction to it. He was looking around at everyone like what are you crazy people doing!?!? 

 
Wow look at that face!!! For the first couple minutes Zachary was being so careful about it but finally he dove in and got himself all dirty!! It's required on their first birthday though!! He had a lot of fun considering he'd been eyeing that cake since the minute he laid his eyes on it!! 

 
Connor and his Grandma!! We were in the pool for an hour and it was absolutely awesome!! The entire place was closed so we were the only ones except the lifeguard and we all went back and forth between the big pool and the kiddie pool! It was such a relaxing time and I had a lot of fun!! 

 
Zachary was enjoying that slide today! Lately when we've been in this pool he's been not too into it but tonight he was loving every minute of it!!

It's amazing to me how much a baby can change in their first year of life!! Zachary had a good birthday, what birthday would be complete without dinner at Shoji's?? ;-) And then after Shoji's we went and got some ice cream and by that time Zach had had enough of the birthday celebration and we took him home and off to bed he went! 

Update of AAHHHH!!!

So today I got my early birthday present from my parents and they got me a new bike!!! Yay, I am so excited because now I will actually get to use my bike trailer that I bought like over a month ago!! And now no pedal will fall off in the middle of the road! I rode my bike to work today to get a feel of it and it felt awesome and it only took me like 10 minutes to get to work! And I know it will take a little longer to take Connor to Busy Buddies when I'm lugging 55 pounds of kids behind me. But I am just happy that now I have a convenient way to transport the kids to and from cuz I have to give back my mother in laws car back tomorrow :-( And do you guys realize what tomorrow is??? One year ago today I was in labor with Zachary!! I can't believe it's already been a year since he's been born. He has truly been a blessing in my life. It's crazy for me to think that one year ago I had a baby in my stomach and now a year later I have a brand new baby in my stomach!! I'm getting more and more excited about the idea of a new baby but at the same time I'm scared of what could go wrong. I find with each pregnancy I think more and more about everything that could happen and I just pray that everything will be okay and healthy (and hopefully with girl parts!!!) ;-) Just had to throw that in! Well I think that's enough rambling from me for now!!

There it is!!!

So here it is if of course you can even tell what it is!!! Cuz I can't hardly tell, but yes there is a baby there, we heard the heartbeat and were told that everything looks just the way that it is supposed to look at this stage. I am 6wk and 3 days pregnant and my due date is February 26th. My little Zachary will be only 20 months old!! Connor's already saying it's his baby sister so you know we don't want to dissapoint him ;-)

So we had just an awesome time these past few days hanging out with our friends! Monday night we were supposed to go to Shoji's for dinner but it was closed for a private party so we went to Kayo's Roadhouse! And we had a blast, there were lots of peanuts thrown and lots of laughter around our table with only a little bit of drama! Then it was off to drinking which was fun too. You would think that after spending all night with these people we would have been tired of them ;-) but no we spent almost all of fourth of July with them too! We went down to the new pool and I brought an underwater camera so hopefully those pics turned out good and then over to Gregg and Tressa's for the BBQ. Fun times, fun times.....
